Introduction of EV Charging Cable

    • CHAdeMO: CHAdeMO is a fast-charging connector primarily used by Japanese and some European electric vehicles. It supports DC fast charging and features a unique plug design.

    • Tesla Supercharger: Tesla vehicles use their proprietary connector design for fast charging at Tesla Supercharger stations. Adapters are available for compatibility with other charging standards.

  4. Charging Speeds: EV charging cables come in different ratings, indicating their maximum charging capacity or power output. The charging speed is determined by factors such as the vehicle's onboard charger capacity and the charging station's power output. Common charging speeds include Level 1 (AC 120V, standard household outlet), Level 2 (AC 240V, higher power), and DC fast charging (high-voltage direct current).

  5. Safety Features: EV charging cables incorporate various safety features to protect against electrical hazards and ensure proper charging.
